For textile printing entrepreneurs, especially those working with polyester fabrics, the term sublimation printer is certainly familiar. This printer has become a flagship machine for producing various fabric-based products, from scarves, abayas, jerseys, and even carpets and stuffed toys.

A sublimation printer doesn’t work independently, it requires a companion machine called a transfer heater. First, the design is printed on transfer paper, which is then heated in the transfer heater along with the prepared fabric. Therefore, having both machines is essential for completing the production process from start to finish.

Equally important as the machines is the medium—transfer paper. It plays a crucial role, and need to choose transfer paper of the best quality. Using the wrong type could result in distorted prints or suboptimal transfers to the fabric.

Additionally, the polyester content in the fabric significantly affects the print quality. The higher the polyester content, the better or more vibrant the print result.

Choose the transfer paper that best suits your needs. For instance, if your design involves block colors or a full design, it’s recommended to use higher grammage transfer paper. However, make sure to also check its compatibility with your printer.

Some newer printers, such as the Homer Unicorn 180x, can even print on low-grammage transfer paper, like 29 grams!

Pay attention to the size of the transfer paper and match it to your printer and printing requirements. This is crucial to minimize wasted paper during the printing process.

As the name suggests, this product offers transfer paper with a grammage of 100 grams, a width of 1.5 meters, and a length of 100 meters. When purchased, the transfer paper comes in a roll, ready to be installed on your machine’s take-up reel.

The price is Rp 4,400 per meter. However, it is not sold per square meter but as a roll.
